Avenue Design Studio ist ein Boutique-Innenarchitektur-Studio mit Sitz in Delft, Niederlande. Gründerin Holly Marder legt Wert auf besondere Materialien und das Haptische, wobei sie internationale Einflüsse - von Südafrika bis Australien und Europa - einbindet. Das Ziel: ein Gleichgewicht von entspannt und luxuriös herzustellen.
Die Starwood Residence, die wir hier zeigen, ist ein Beispiel für dieses Konzept: Wände aus Lehm, Böden aus wiederverwendeten Terrakottafliesen und ausgewählte Möbel, die ein entspanntes, aber hochwertiges Zuhause für die Familie schaffen, die dort wohnt.

We loved working with nen-do clay in the kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom (vanity), adding that final layer that makes all the difference to all the spaces. This wall finish allowed us to strike a balance between the clean and layered aesthetic we were channeling for the indoor/outdoor concept for this project, giving the rooms much more depth and texture while not being overwhelming to the eye.
